Our December event will be a chance for you to learn about a new campaigning tool and share an update or brag about work you or your organizations did in 2009, and share any lessons or ideas from that experience with the group.

LOUDER.org.uk team members will give a presentation on the new e-campaigning platform that's been developed this year by NCVO, SiteWriters and others. It is a free platform for individuals or groups to create and distribute campaigns, bringing together a range of social media and social action tools, from YouTube & Twitter, to e-Petitions and ‘write to your MP’ functionality. It has great potential for helping small and large organizations, and everyone in between. If you want to check it out before the presentation, visit: Louder.org.uk

We will then have an open platform for anyone to share about work they have done this year, or are planning for next year, things learned or developed, and so on. It's your chance to look back and share with the group!

Thanks to the folks at eOffice for hosting!

    •  I thought the Louder presentation was good. I picked up interesting info that warrants further investigation. However numbers attending were very poor. I notice there were around 15 confirms on the meetup site but only 4 attended. I'm recently back in the country after a couple of years abroad working in development so am keen to do as much networking as possible to scope out possible opportunities and more generally to get an idea where NFP ICT in the UK is at the moment. I will definately attend again though. I just hope the attendance will be a little higher.

Not great on numbers, excellent on quality of discussion... was really good to bounce ideas around the room about Louder and how different people and campaigns could put it to use!
