As Founder/CEO and mother of the young man this foundation was setup to honor, my ultimate goal in the whole scheme of things is to provide scholarships to those young people wanting to further their education and to build a state-of-the-art sustainable academy to not just teach your typical curriculum, but educate this generation of students about their responsibility to family, environment, community, financial,social, and academics. To most students school is all they have to help them formulate how to proceed towards their future. Through fund raising, donations, and grants we will provide scholarships to the graduates of our academy.

    • “ I love the networking portion and got some valuable info from others. I plan to contact folks that I met and I plan to come back. I think that Linda is an idealist and a bit naive. I think a lot of research is needed to formulate a concrete plan. ”
    • “ I hope she does well, but I think she is reaching for too much. I heard a lot about teaching the kids "Green" and "Arts" and "Life Skills", but not a lot about teaching the kids technology... The stuff they will need to be a well compensated member of society as an adult. ”
    • “ Enjoyed the idea behind her presentation. I understand it is still in the "idea" stages and that PR is not her strong suit. It does come across in her pitch that she still has a lot to learn about what needs to be done and she probably would benefit from a good marketing person to help with the presentation/pitch of the idea. But the foundation & scholarships are commendable and I respect the idea of the school she is trying to build. I wish her all the success in the world with her endeavor. ”
    • “ It was a great opportunity to network with those who can assists those working with nonprofits with the tech aspects. Thank you for doing this! ”
    • “ I thought a lot about Linda's project and ultimately concluded she was naive about the ability of a single school, or ultimately a national chain of schools, to address all the issues the proposed project will cure. She had me when she said that every child is an 'at risk' child -- that is so true; it is the nature of the risk that changes with every child. But while we all want to see schools improved, we will not all agree on the solution. By contrast, the little fifiteen minutes about Charity Waters was short, pithy, to the point, was definite in scope and capabilities, and seemed very achievable. ”
    • “ I thought that it was a good meeting. Linda had a good presentation but she being the visionary could have benefited from having from having one of her nuts-and-bolts associates there to help her answer the questions she could not. Our venue was a little crowded but most didn't seem to mind. ”
    • “ This was my first NetSquared meeting, so I've no context, but I think Linda needs a lot of help. Not just website and social networking, but just about everything - messaging, positioning, materials, speaker training, etc... ”
