DESCRIPTION:The Houston NetSquared Meetup Group\n\nThis will be the second 
 Meetup for The Houston NetSquared group!\n\nWe'll use this meeting time to 
 get to know each other\, discuss current online technology trends and the f
 uture of non-profit technology adoption.\n\nThis month we’ll dive into some
  local programs that have helped Houston residents connect with online tech
 nologies\, in the hopes of advancing education\, job searches and quality o
 f life initiatives.   \n\nJim Forrest\, of the Technology for All organizat
 ion\, will be joining our non profit technology conversation as he discusse
 s various Houston technology outreach programs and the potential for techno
 logical growth in the non profit sector.\n\nFrom low-income community wirel
 ess Internet access projects to Community Technology Centers across the cit
 y (and in the Astrodome for hurricane evacuees)\, TFA has long been an acti
 ve advocate of closing the digital divide for all members of society.\n\nTh
 is will be a great meeting to dive into some of the work that has already b
 een started in the Houston area – and a great time to brainstorm for new id
 eas and projects.  Look forward to seeing you there!\n\nThe Stag's Head Pub
