 ur organizer here with a quick word about next Tuesday's event format.\n\nI
 n an attempt to lift-off from the fantastic energy and feedback of last mon
 th's event \, \nthis month's Net Tuesday will provide a forum for Social In
 novators\, Investors and Technologists interested in contributing to the di
 rection of future engagements.  Pls be sure to read the agenda below and be
  prepared to participate.\n\nGoals of the meeting:\n\n1. Cultivate ideas fo
 r designing an environment to help accelerate \nthe development and lift-of
 f of Pro-Social Projects.\n(Pro-Social = Projects focused on social-benefit
 .)\n\nThe Meeting Format:\n\n6pm: Open networking (30 minutes)\n1. Introduc
 tions (20 minutes)\n2. Self-organizing based on experience/expertise (5 min
 utes)\n3. What’s broken with the way we design\, develop and launch our Pro
 jects? (15 minutes)\n4. Group Presos. Volunteer reports findings back to th
 e group. (20 minutes)\n5. Summary: \nDesigning an environment for community
 -based innovation (5 minutes)\n-- What happens if we’re wildly successful i
 n designing an environment for Pro-Social Projects\n-- What’s unique about 
 our particular environment here in Austin as it relates to our focus?\n6. D
 efining Net Tuesday Community Roles (10 minutes)\n7. Easy Next Steps (5 min
 utes)\n\nParticipation Guidelines:\n\n1. Inclusivity.\nWe’re committed to m
 aking sure we approach opportunities in an inclusive way.\nA simple rule of
  thumb to help maintain this value throughout the event is to ensure your i
 deas and contributions allow for a broad range of community participation a
 cross both the private and public sector\, and aren’t limited to any single
  constituency.\n\n2. Impactful.\nDoes your suggestion/ideas create real soc
 ial impact?\n\n3. Accomplishable.\nAre your suggestions accomplishable base
 d on the current local resources\, and our existing collective capacity?\n\
 n4. Teachable.\nDoes your suggestion allow us to ‘teach’ as we go?\n\n5. Sc
 aleable.\nEverything doesn't need to scale\, but it's important to think ab
 out scaleability as we brainstorm\, as the ultimate goal here is to develop
  a model that can be distributed to cities beyond Austin.\n\nWhat Net Squar

  needs of nonprofits\n* Relationships with >35 technology companies at Tech
 Soup Stock\, including Adobe\, Microsoft\, Business Objects\, etc.\n* ~ 15\

 events in more than 20 other cities around the globe who meet up face-to-fa

 ity forums and a blog\n\nWho should attend? \n\nInnovators.  Building a pro
 ject that has the potential to change the way your industry works in addres
