“ the David Suzuki presentation was informative and had great ideas! the CarbonZero presentation may have been interesting however the presenters volume was too low to hear the good things they might have been saying. the presentation could have been more polished. otherwise it was interesting. ”

“ I LOVED the two presenters from David Suzuki foundation, and from Net Squared. The other presenter, from www.carbonzero.ca presented ideas on how to save power. Therefore their presentation at this particular meeting was good. But I was shocked to hear that they (in their own words) were “primarily a carbon offset company.” I was shocked because the myth of “carbon offsets” is well known: See this link for solid evidence against that myth: http://www.newint... In a www.rabble.ca poll ( http://www.rabble... ) the second question asks, “What do you think of carbon trading?” 47% (111 votes) said “It's a complete scam and needs to be eliminated.” Nevertheless the carbon zero people did not try to push any of that on anyone at this particular meeting. So, all things considered, I though it was a good meeting. I was VERY impressed with Net Squared as an organisation. It’s great. ”
