Greetings to all. My name is Melanie. I am a licensed social worker and community relations specialist. I am interested in learning about the latest uses of social networking and communication.
What cool examples of technology for social change have you encountered?
aside from being active on facebook and myspace i am still learning about social networking.
Have you used technology for social change? If not, do you have plans/ideas/dreams about how you want to use it?
i would like to teach social workers how to improve their ability to link their clients with services and also develop their online advocacy skills.
Your organization or cause -- what are you passionate about?
at this point in time, i am starting to interface with the komen foundation and team in training, to become part of their online fundraising activism and IRL distance walks
