The June 24th event will focus on two great tools:
- Squarepeg: Squarepeg is a communication tool for people who use the Internet to organize around social causes. We believe that change is social, that relationships are the heart of the social sector, and that organizations and individuals will interact more efficiently and persuasively if they use Squarepeg to leverage those connections.
- connec+ipedia: People who are working to make a better world learn a lot as we do our work. How do you store what you learn? Are you always able to access it when you need it again? How do you pass it on to others? Imagine what would happen if you had a way to share what you know. Imagine what you could accomplish if you had an easy and direct way to access what others have learned who are doing similar work.
Isaac Holeman, a member of the Portland Net Tuesday group and co-founder of Squarepeg, and Amy Sample Ward, co-organizer of the Portland Net Tuesday group and staff at Meyer Memorial Trust, will present on the two tools.
